Drawing on the biblical image of Jesus overturning tables in the temple, the United Church’s second national justice gathering is designed to inspire, energize, and equip participants to mobilize for justice.
There will be a particular focus on
- grassroots networks and movement building
- engaging intercultural worship
- provocative plenary speakers with new insights for social transformation
Workshops will address connecting faith with passion for justice, organizing movements for transformation, and strategizing for creative resistance. We will allow our Quebec context to be a source of inspiration and learning. French, bilingual, and English presentations and workshops will be offered.
